Call for Abstracts: Participate in the green business WORLD CONGRESS
We invite you to actively participate with a presentation at the first World Congress for Green Business & Technology.
GUIDELINES
Please observe the following guidelines before forwarding your contributions:
- Abstracts can be submitted on all topics of the congress.
- The abstract text may contain a maximum of 2,000 characters (including blank spaces). The abstract title may not be longer than 200 characters (in addition to the main abstract text). The language must be either English or German. Abstracts in other languages cannot be accepted. There can be a maximum of four (4) co-authors per abstract for oral presentations, short presentations, workshops, panel presentations, symposia and videos.
- For symposia, each abstract may contain a maximum of 2,000 characters (including blank spaces). The abstract title may not be longer than 200 characters (in addition to the main abstract text). The language must be either German or English. Abstracts in other languages cannot be accepted. A maximum of twenty (20) co-authors per abstract for a symposium can be accepted.
- Abstracts must be able to be attributed to one of the following areas:
- New technologies and innovation
- Project presentations
- Project concepts (not yet realized)
- Scientific research
- The abstracts should be originals and if possible contain the latest facts and updated information, should they have been presented elsewhere. The contents should be sufficiently detailed to allow for judging their relevance. Incomplete texts cannot be accepted.
- The Program Commission of the green business WORLD CONGRESS reviews each submitted Abstract.
- If the Program Commission accepts an abstract, it then will decide on the form of the presentation of the topic at the green business WORLD CONGRESS—either as an oral presentation, a short presentation, a workshop, a symposium (if there are other similar abstracts covering similar topics), a panel presentation or a video.

- Authors of accepted oral presentations, short presentations, workshops, panel presentations, symposia or videos must register as conference participants. They have the opportunity to do this at a reduced fee (“Early Bird” booker) until May 4, 2012.
- All accepted abstracts will be published in a book that will be presented free-of-charge at the green business WORLD CONGRESS to every participant and media representative. Abstracts that are of interest to a wider audience will be published in a special section of the green1 magazine (GREEN ONE, circulation: 100,000).
- There will not be a poster presentation at the green business WORLD CONGRESS.

In presentations with a maximum of 12 minutes (short lectures 7 minutes), new technologies and innovations, projects and project ideas, extraordinary products or scientific research studies will be demonstrated. If possible or required, the Program Commission will group similar topics together. - WORKSHOP

Workshops should assist participants in expanding their understanding, knowledge and abilities in a specific field. In these sessions, the active participation of the audience is desired. It is possible, in accordance with the Program Commission, to have leading experts in the respective field lead through the workshop, or provide support. - PANEL PRESENTATION / DISCUSSION ROUND

At the panel presentations, three to four (3–4) participants discuss a common topic, project, problem or common issue. After short statements, the discussion participants may outline their personal approaches. From experience, discussions are more interactive than symposia, and listeners are often integrated into the ongoing discourses. - SYMPOSIA

Symposia consist of three to five (3–5) sequential lectures that focus on the topic of the respective symposium. At the beginning, the overlapping topic is shortly introduced and the respective abstracts outlined. For symposia with less than four (4) lecturers, the Program Commission may add similar abstracts. - VIDEO

Film segments and videos may be presented in the framework of the green business WORLD CONGRESS. These must be sent ready for screening (edited, with sound, etc.). After presentation, the videos may be discussed.

With the submission of the abstract, you accept that the Program Commission can make decisions based on topical or logistical/organizational grounds, pertaining to which presentation form (oral presentation, short presentation, workshop, panel presentation, symposium) your submission will take at the green business WORLD CONGRESS.
By submitting your presentation, you expressly agree that, if accepted, it can be published free-of-charge for an unlimited time, factually, territorially independent, in particular in book form for the green business WORLD CONGRESS and green1 magazine, both published by PRIMA VISTA. Additionally, you expressly agree that the transparencies of your presentation can be published as a PDF document for an unlimited time, factually, territorially without limitation by the organizer within the framework of the green business WORLD CONGRESS, in particular on the official websites of the green business WORLD CONGRESS and the greenEXPO EUROPE.
